Captain's Pick

Privacy

Captain's Pick stores what it needs to run your trip, and nothing else. This page says exactly what that is.

What the app stores

Where it lives

On AWS servers in the United States, sent over encrypted connections. Your trip's data is visible to the people on your trip's roster — that's the point — and to no one else.

What it never does

  • No ads, and no ad networks.
  • No third-party trackers or analytics SDKs.
  • Your data is never sold or shared.
  • This website sets no cookies.

Your data

You can leave any trip from My Trips inside the app — your scores stay part of the trip's record, and rejoining with the same code restores your spot. You delete your account from the Account screen inside the app — or email us from the support page if you'd rather we did it for you. Either way your sign-in identity, your account and your push notification bindings are deleted; the scores you posted and your name on a roster stay part of the trips' records.
